OK not FAN, so tested connector and wiring back to the fuse box. all fine. 3. It may take a few long runs to do this, and if you leave your car outside in wet conditions that will get the car damper, which won't help alternatively, take the dashboard out and put it in a hot airing cupboard for a day. Common Faults: This instrument cluster is a common problem for the Fiat Grande Punto built from 2005 - 2011, the dash will go completely blank and not work at all. You may find that the fault starts out as an intermittent failure but then goes completely dead. We can rebuild your own instrument cluster or supply replacement units when in stock. Also - Check that 12v is been applied to the relays power side. and 12v is also been applied to the relays low tension side. Ziggy. Dec 7, 2007 · The light stayed on during the short 30min drive, but otherwise the electronic steering was working OK. Then I turned the engine off and on again and the red light dissapeared and never appeared again (except for a second-two when starting the engine, together with all other lights, which is normal).
