4. Just take engineering!!! In high school, it might have been that math, among others, isn鈥檛 your best subject. It is that subject that you barely care about and just survive the exams one after the other. Soon, you decide to become an engineer, and find out that engineering involves a lot of math. It is inevitable that when you study
Jul 29, 2022 路 You might be planning to take up software engineering as a career choice. To become one, you need a bachelor鈥檚 in computer science. Is software engineering hard? Does software engineering require math? Surely it would help if you were good at math. But it has never been your forte.
Pure math. subjects are not required, for example, Projective Geometry is not a must know. You need to be careful when you persue a degree in Math. The study is very hard and from a career perspective, jobs may not be that easy to find. You need to have really good IQ to survive in Math related careers. CS offers more applied careers than math
It would be more constructive to spend more time learning maths to assist your engineering learning. I already lost half my class due to Engineer Maths 1 because the people who applied couldnt do Pre Calc (Trig, logs, complex numbers) which is a shame. You cant put off mathematics and hope to get by in engineering.

You don't need advanced mathematical education at all. IMO the most important thing you need to become a great programmer is determination. I think of law as very similar to computer science. Lawyers agonize over grammatical structure and the intent of a word, only to be undone by a missing Oxford comma. Programming is this but with misplaced
Aug 3, 2020 路 Experts say a math degree is helpful for obtaining the following types of jobs. However, it should be noted that there are other occupations that math grads may pursue besides these: Actuary
Sep 19, 2022 路 Learning advanced math has a lot of advantages for Software Engineers, when you have a good understanding of math, you will be able to participate in a wide range of projects. Advanced math skills will help you to work on projects in machine learning and artificial intelligence, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Cryptography, Data science
May 31, 2022 路 What engineering uses a lot of math? Electrical engineering is the most math heavy of the engineering disciplines. You rely heavily on differential equations when dealing with advanced circuit analysis and electromagnetism is basically a physics and math course. In a close second is mechanical engineering, which uses dynamics a lot.
Look up the pomodoro method. I notice its more effective for me at least. Believe you can do this. Yes engineering is a lot of math, you will find your way. After you finish calculus, it will be easy. During calculus, you will struggle. Then you will struggle in calc 2. Also know your basics. algebra, pre-calc stuff.
